Systems Thinking graphic

This meeting’s discussion centered around Systems Thinking, a chance to pull back and see the big picture of where we fit in the larger food recovery universe. We considered how we are all interconnected, how we define our models and what perspective that gives us to design our programs.

Cultivating Distribution Partners

This meeting featured Faith Whaley of Christ the King Food Share and Farm, digging into the timely topic of cultivating distribution partners for the coming season. She discussed her very organized system of how to organize partners into “tiers”, how to choose what partner to distribute how much food to, scheduling, delivery, pick up and more.

Wearing Many Hats

The meeting brought together food access leaders from across Washington to strengthen connections between Farm to Food Pantry and the WGN. Juggling multiple roles, organizing daily priorities, and managing diverse staffing structures were just some of the points in this awesome discussion on the challenges we all share of Wearing Many Hats.
