Rotary Hunger Relief Awards

Harvest Against Hunger would like to recognize your Rotary club and any of your members working to end hunger and address food insecurity.

Harvest Against Hunger, a project of Rotary District 5030 and formerly known as Rotary First Harvest, has been working for nearly 40 years to reduce hunger in Washington and across the Northwest. This year we are launching a new initiative to recognize the work Rotarians and Rotary clubs throughout the state are doing to help address hunger and food insecurity. Specifically, we will award six grants of $500  (one from each Rotary district in Washington State) to local food banks and pantries in the name of self-nominated Rotary clubs.

To be eligible, within the past year your Rotary club and/or any of your members must have supported a local hunger relief program or have worked in some other manner to address hunger in your area. The support can have been in the form of volunteer time, a special project, or a grant from your club.

If your club meets the criteria, please complete the application form below describing your club’s support and submit it by November 19, 2021. In late November, HAH will conduct a drawing of all submitted applications. One grant will be awarded by random drawing within each of the Rotary districts in Washington. An additional $500 grant will be awarded based on a random drawing of all submitted applications.

Please contact us with any questions regarding Harvest Against Hunger or this grant opportunity. We look forward to receiving your application.

Good Luck!
