Rotary Hunger Relief Awards
Harvest Against Hunger (HAH) would like to recognize your Club and any of your members which are working to end hunger and address food insecurity.
Harvest Against Hunger, a project of District 5030 and formerly known as Rotary First Harvest, has been working for almost 40 years to help end hunger in Washington and across the Northwest. This year we are launching a new initiative to recognize the work Rotarians and Rotary Clubs throughout the state are doing to help address hunger and food insecurity. Specifically, we will award 10 grants of $500 each to local food banks and pantries in the name of 10 self-nominated Rotary Clubs.
To be eligible, within the past Rotary Year your Rotary Club and/or any of your members must have supported a local hunger relief program or have worked in some other manner to address hunger in your area. The support can have been in the form of volunteer time, a special project, or a grant from your Club.
If your Club meets the criteria, please complete the application form below describing your club’s support and submit it by September 23, 2021. In October, HAH will conduct a drawing of all submitted applications. One grant will be awarded by random drawing within each of the five Rotary Districts in Washington; the other five grants will be awarded based on a random drawing of all submitted applications.
Please contact us with any questions regarding Harvest Against Hunger or this grant opportunity. We look forward to receiving your application.
