Nourish the American Dream

When school is out, many children lose access to the meals they count on each day. For thousands of families across Washington, weekends, holidays, and summer break can mean uncertainty about where their next meal will come from.

At Harvest Against Hunger, we believe every child deserves reliable access to healthy, nutritious food. That’s why we’re proud to join more than 200 organizations nationwide in the Albertsons-Safeway Foundation’s Nourish the American Dream campaign to collectively raise $5 million to help end childhood hunger.

This July, as our nation approaches its 250th anniversary, communities across the country are coming together around a simple idea: every child should have the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive without hunger standing in the way.

From July 1-7, every gift to Harvest Against Hunger will support our mission to get fresh, healthy produce to the people who need it most.
